Certainly couldn't do that here!
Your 200,000 is an amazing achievement - I have every thing crossed that you make it!!
I'm just hoping it stops incessantly raining here, so I can at least venture out for a couple of decent and enjoyable rides (with some nice tea and scone stops!).
I'm glad you are enjoying the little blogs I kept - they were for last year's challenges set by Rapha (as you've probably guessed!) - haven't felt inspired enough of late to write any more, also haven't much time - work is taking over!!! :(Jammie Dodger Rideshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07681620421105305087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3739147624979162869.post-58907131568093384582012-04-24T08:19:25.959-04:002012-04-24T08:19:25.959-04:00Indeed, the garden has been neglected in the last ...Indeed, the garden has been neglected in the last month. Fortunately it's quite small, so I should be able to catch up with just a little effort.

Virginia is *supposed* to be tapering this week for her 20,000 foot day on Saturday, but even her taper rides dwarf the climbing I can do around here, so I think your going to see a massive surge as she definitively roars past me. That said, I am close enough to 200,000 that I'll at least aim for that.

47 days is a long time to keep going. I am pooped! BTW, I've started into your blog. Really enjoying it!Fixie Pixiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12932022188247682078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3739147624979162869.post-18163993106970418602012-04-24T05:36:19.162-04:002012-04-24T05:36:19.162-04:00My advice: forget the lawnmower for a few days and...My advice: forget the lawnmower for a few days and indulge the OCD side of you John commented on! You're still poised at the top of the leader board this morning!! It's gripping stuff!!
P.S. Our poor garden is looking sorry for itself at the moment too! Was in the middle of creating a willow archway when the challenge started ... have got no further forward ... and now I see there's another Nuun challenge on the cards - will it ever be finished I wonder !!!!!!!Jammie Dodger Rideshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07681620421105305087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3739147624979162869.post-74595189008182489032012-04-22T21:06:12.534-04:002012-04-22T21:06:12.534-04:00We've been very lucky with weather during the ...We've been very lucky with weather during the chalenge. Although I have been hoping for a rainy day to have an excuse to take a day off! Rains finally came today, much to the relief of local farmers. I managed to get out before the heavy stuff. My garden is quite happy to finally have the rain, but I won't get any stravas pushing the lawnmower around!Fixie Pixiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12932022188247682078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3739147624979162869.post-35620915171355966232012-04-22T03:56:58.527-04:002012-04-22T03:56:58.527-04:00Fantastic Pamela! I am really enjoying reading your blog and your climbing stats are making me wince!!
I've only just pipped the 50% mark in the Strava challenge - the weather has seemed to be very much against me (gusting winds, snow and sleet every day I seem to be able to get out and ride the little sharp climbs round these parts!) - so I can appreciate just how much work you are putting in!!! Chapeau!! Go girl! :)) Keep it up!!Jammie Dodger Rideshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07681620421105305087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3739147624979162869.post-25182860243978253962012-04-11T22:29:30.206-04:002012-04-11T22:29:30.206-04:00Helge, Good luck with the climbing in Houston. I'm still trying to finish my last 25'000 feet while travelling.
