Saint Llorenç de Morunys to Saint Quirze de Basora
Our next goal was Saint Quirze de Besora. When checking for existence of hotels, we found one that looked good, but only had a few rooms left so decided we would just book it in advance.
As we entered Berga, we missed a turn, but thought we were taking a parallel street. Unfortunately, we hit a few one way streets and managed to miss all the lunch and coffee shops. The city is also built on the side of a cliff, it seemed. We descended steeply and then seemed to climb right back out on the other side. We stopped at a lake on the far side, where we enjoyed some savory treats we'd picked up at the bakery in Sant Llorenc. We managed to find coffee a few kms up the road. Today's route would cross our outbound route and overlap a bit, passing through Alpens again. We had great coffee there, so decided it was worth a repeat stop.
